Yannaccone, as Ryan Schneider’s clear No. 2 at Anywhere Real Estate, remains among the industry’s most powerful leaders. She has executed the vision that she, Schneider and the Anywhere board have set for the company, helping it streamline its management and maintain profitability, even in a tough real estate market.
In her role, she oversees operations of the nation’s largest real estate franchise group, whose combined U.S. 196,000 agents did over $636 billion in sales and 1.2 million transactions in 2022. This includes all of the other Anywhere franchise brands, which, in addition to Coldwell Banker, includes Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Century 21, Corcoran Group, ERA and Sotheby’s International Realty.
Included in this role, she also manages Anywhere’s brokerage division Anywhere Advisors, the company-owned offices that collectively rank as the nation’s second largest real estate brokerage with over $222 billion in annual sales and over 56,000 agents.
The company achieved a net profit of $10 million through the first three quarters of 2023. That represents a drop from the same period a year previous but stands as a remarkable achievement given the challenging real estate market, and the $85 million compensation lawsuit settlement.
Widely known as a strategic leader and an advocate for women leaders in real estate, Yannaccone founded and runs “What Moves Her,” a movement designed to help develop women leaders in the industry. In 2024, she remains the most powerful woman in real estate with her No. 7 position on the 2024 SP 200.
