Since co-founding Crye-Leike in Memphis over four decades ago with Dick Leike, Crye has built his firm into a Mid-South powerhouse. Its company-owned brokerage division has nearly 2,800 agents who do over $5 billion in annual sales across eight states. Crye oversaw the company’s navigation of the Gibson compensation case with the firm again seeking a court dismissal in October 2024 along with other defendants. The firm acquired another long-time Memphis competitor, The Garland Company, in June.
