Blefari’s more than three decades in real estate has been characterized by optimism coupled with pragmatism. During one of residential estate’s more tumultuous years, the leader of HomeServices of America (HSA) spoke to agents and others in the industry about the importance of resilience and being proactive.
Heading into his sixth year helming the nation’s fourth largest real estate enterprise with an agent count of more than 69,000 who did more than $196 billion in 2023 annual sales, Blefari is known for his constant striving for growth and improvement. Throughout 2024, he countered an “it’ll get easier” perspective in favor of working harder, consistently, to succeed.
In addition to navigating the significant compensation cases, Blefari helped lead his company to profitable second and third quarters in 2024. Collectively, the firm saw a net revenue of $63.0 million in that period, a bright spot for the firm in a tough real estate year, and evidence of Blefari’s effective leadership.
Even with these successes, Blefari has a lot on his plate. In 2024, he took over active oversight of his company’s franchise wing, HSF Affiliates. Like many leaders confronting a new era for real estate, he will have innovate and focus to maintain HSA’s sustained industry dominance.
As the No. 1 at HSA, Blefari oversees an industry behemoth with both a rich war chest and a deep bench of talented managers, Blefari is clearly one of the industry’s most powerful leaders in 2025.
